Accounting Elite Championship 2019
Accounting Department
This month the Accounting department participated in the Accounts Elite Championship where they competed with around 22 other schools (independent, state and church schools).
Our participants were Amy Borg, Matthew Schembri and Gilbert Borg all from 5.1. The competition was really tough, and they were given questions which were of a higher level than the sec exam. It is with great joy to tell you that our school placed second. Also, during the same championship, another competition was held were all students competed individually against each other. Our Amy placed second from around 66 students. Obviously we couldn't be any happier.
A trophy was given to Amy for placing second and another trophy was given to the school. Attached please find some photos. We are really proud of them.

Malta Junior Science Olympiad 2018
Physics Department
This year on Saturday 24th November our school took part in the MJSO (Malta Junior Science Olympiad).
The students that represented our school are: Greta Micallef, Luke Heraghty and Sheriden Balzan from 5.1. They had to solve a task involving the three sciences, mainly Physics, Chemistry and Biology. We did not qualify with the first 3 winners but still our students did a great job.
The persons involved were, Mr Christopher Grima, Ms Loredana Maggi, Mr Ivan Costa, Ms Alexia Tanti, Mr Robert Zammit, Ms Charlotte Saliba Camilleri and Science Technicians.
